Epson PhotoPC 600 Close-Up Pictures

Here are a couple of sample "macro" pictures taken with the Epson PhotoPC 600 and the Tiffen close-up lens set. The set consists of three lenses (+1, +2 and +4 diopters) that screw onto the 37mm lens adapter that comes with the camera. The lenses can be used individually or can be screwed together to create the equivalent of up to a 7 diopter lens. The pictures on this page were taken with all 3 lenses screwed together. Using this combination, the camera produces a clear picture at a minimum distance of about 3 inches. Click on each picture to see the original, unmodified images.

I bought the lens set at Best-Buy for $14.50. I'm not sure if this was a sale price (or a mistake), but it seemed too good to pass up!
