This Tripod membership is for the Society for Disability Studies (SDS). SDS is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization. It is a multidisciplinary and international organization composed of social scientists, scholars in the humanities, disability rights advocates, providers, and agency personnel concerned with people with disabilities.
SDS is committed to developing theoretical and practical knowledge about disability and to promoting the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities in society. |
