I am English and live in a town called Blackpool, which is situated in the north of Britain, in the county of Lancashire. Blackpool is a seaside town and is very popular, both here and in Europe. It is famous primarily for its tower, which is second only in height to the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris, its amusement park, and for its illuminations. The illuminations are fairy
lights, positioned all along the sea front for about 3 miles, in various designs, displays and colours. They are shown from September through
to November and are quite a lovely sight when viewed at night. I have lived here, alongside my family all my life, and have come to call it
