Tripod member Sameer asks:
I have different house tools and fixing materials like needles, plastic
pipes, sockets, valves, screws, and a lot of other garbage things that I
want to organize in a little space and look nice. Otherwise I will
keep putting them in cartons.
Handy Girl Bernadette suggests:
Do you know the bucketeer? My husband always makes fun of me for using
such a thing, but as far as organization for an otherwise sloppy person
goes, the bucketeer just can't be beat. It is a canvas pouch kind of
thing with a jillion pockets (well, maybe thirty) inside and out. It
goes right over the top of a plastic five gallon bucket and holds just
about everything you'll need. It's got little pockets for hardware,
bigger ones for tools and, of course, the bucket itself can hold your
really big items. In addition to a place for everything and everything
in its place, you can carry this contraption with ease wherever you need
to go to do the job. These can be found at nearly every home and
hardware store and are pretty cheap. The five gallon buckets can be
found near the dumpster of your favorite fast food restaurant.
