| Yes, to a point. But no automatic weapons to the public, and they must get a permit to get a handgun or a hunting gun of any kind. An ex-felon, if still under charge by the government, which represents the public, has no right to carry a weapon.

Dear Evel, I live in Michigan and this girl I like lives in Tennessee. I went down there to meet once and the trip turned out to be a disaster — my car caught on fire and we really didn't talk to each other a lot when we were together! Now I have a new girlfriend here in Michigan, but I don't care for her as much as I did the girl in Tennessee. I'd like to go down to Tennessee to see the old girlfriend, but that would mean I would have to break up with my current girlfriend. I'm afraid that if I follow my heart my heart will come back broken, but if I follow my mind I could be missing the girl I love. What should I do? |

I'd pursue both. Follow your instincts. Try to find out which is the best girl for you — in time you certainly will. You may change your mind, you may not. But I know one thing: When you go to Tennessee you won't be lonely, because you'll have a girl in Tennessee, and when you go back to Michigan you won't be lonely because you'll have a girl there, so why not make the best of it? |
