The primary health care professional "on duty" here at Ask the Doctor is Rob "Doctor Bob" Jandl, M.D., Tripod's director of Health Services.

Howard Blue is the director of clinical services in the Division of Mental Hygiene at Yale University, and an assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University of Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, with a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale.

Alan Calhoun is with the University Health Service of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, caring for students, students' families, and the university staff. He is also the occupational health physician for the UMass-Amherst campus.

Laura Hill Einbinder is a medical consultant to Tripod specializing in issues of nutrition and fitness. Ms. Einbinder is also a project analyst in the Department of Clinical Practice Systems of the Harvard Community Health Plan in Brookline, MA. In the past, she has served as a nutrition specialist both in private practice and with the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Rob Jandl, "Doctor Bob," is Tripod's director of Health Services. Rob is a board-certified internist and nephrologist with a practice in northwestern Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, and the University of Vermont School of Medicine, with a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He has a keen interest in health education and preventive healthcare.

Bo Kopynec, a board-certified family practitioner in Bennington,Vermont, is a former USAF Flight Surgeon and lover of aviation. He is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and performed his residency under the auspices of the US Air Force. His practice covers the gamut from new-born child exams to the very elderly.

Richard Pasternak is Tripod's senior health service advisor who has helped guide the development of health services. He is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and an associate physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at Yale and carried out post-doctoral work at Massachusetts General Hospital and Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. Among his many responsibilities and interests in patient care and research, he is the director of preventive cardiology and rehabilitation, as well as director of the cardiology unit associates at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Richard Provenzano provides consultation in the area of eye health and diseases. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and did his residency in internal medicine and opthalmology at Albany Medical Center. Rick is in private practice, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Opthalmology, as well as being an active member of numerous state and national societies.

Nancy Rigotti is Tripod's senior medical consultant for Ask the Doctor. She is an assistant professor of medicine and preventive medicine at Harvard Medical School, director of the Quit Smoking Service at Massachusetts General Hospital, and course director for Harvard's required second-year course on Preventive Medicine and Nutrition.

Stephen St. Clair provides consultation in the area of men's health and urology. Steve is a graduate of Williams College and George Washington School of Medicine, and did his residency at the USAF Medical Center in San Antonio. He has a private practice here in Williamstown.

Susan Yates provides consultation in obstetrics and gynecology. Susan is a graduate of Michigan State University for both her undergraduate and medical degrees, and did her residency at the University of Iowa. In addition to her private practice, she works part-time in the Williams College Health Service.
