Tripod Insider

Like the rest of America, our hometown of Williamstown has been deluged with rain over the past couple of weeks. Fortunately, Jason "Mac" Macauley and Rachel Goulart planned an indoor wedding, which Tripod staffers report was a rousing success. Many of those not observing Tripod nuptials were to be found at the Berkshire Mountain Music festival, which featured Los Lobos, The Meters, and lots of wet people. Organizers are planning the "Berkshire Mountain Mud Festival" for next year, figuring that it only makes sense to take advantage of the natural resources of the area.

All the rain seems to be putting a damper on the new, unofficial Tripod pastime: golf. Perhaps it's the influence of sr. software developer, Michelle Greenleaf, or perhaps we've all realized that we're older than Tiger Woods and need to get busy. It has been rumored that Kara Berklich and beau Ben are taking lessons, and there's some speculation that Bo has been skipping his shmancy executive conferences to attend golf school. The rest of us have been confining our excursions to the local driving ranges, where we can do less damage. Matt Quann, however, seems capable of causing bodily harm without leaving the practice cages!! Following Josh Field's advice to loosen up on the clubs, he lost an iron on a backswing and very nearly took out a startled elderly bystander!
