The baby Chocolate German Blue Blushing Angelfish that Karry ordered over the Internet arrived in a box marked "Live Fish: Keep Warm". The office was put to work naming the new scaly babies and came up with the following: Haniel, Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael(after the archangels of Judeo-Christian lore); Kris, Kelly, and Sabrina (after Charlie's Angels of 1970's American TV lore); and finally, Wanda. (Well, we HAD to have a fish called Wanda!!)

We're starting to get excited about the holiday season at Tripod World Headquarters! This past week we enjoyed a potluck feast as a precursor to the American Thanksgiving holiday courtesy of "the relatively new guy" Taxonomy Editor Barak Blackburn. Barak orchestrated a collection of various foods including: pot roast, chili, potato soup, cornbread, salads, pasta casseroles, bourbon chicken, cookies, brownies, mashed potatoes, you name it!

Now that we're heading to our respective friends, families, and relatives' homes for more of the same thing, we couldn't be in better condition. More meals and more food! Barak suggests elastic waistband trousers.
