In the Women's Room conference (topic: Ooh Baby!), Tripod member mandiness says, "I have a son who will be 14 in a couple of weeks and he still kisses me goodbye before he goes anywhere, even in front of his buddies! Once when he got out on the sidewalk he said, 'Oh wait, I forgot to kiss my mom and tell her I love her.' That made me cry. He's my only son, and everytime I think of him, I actually feel like my heart is going to explode because I love him so much."

What feelings does motherhood inspire? Tell us in Ooh Baby!

In the Work Smart conference (topic: You, Inc.), Tripod member IN2MYNDZ says, " If you work full time and run a business, you have to invest in the You, Inc. philosophy. Education, belief, fitness and persistence are demanding investments that you must make in yourself. Everyone has to eke out a living, and the You, Inc. concept gives you the responsibility and control for how you do it: You are the business, you are the economy, you are the future."

How do you manage your career? Tell us in You, Inc.

The Women's Room is a place for women (and men!) to meet and discuss women's things, be it working women, women's rights, or women's underwear. There will be a weekly conference to discuss the current column, plus ongoing women's conferences, expanded as you see fit. Let's meet...

Page Slavedom Conference:
What is a table? What is a frame? Why do my images look all screwed up? This conference is for asking questions about our homepages. Let's discuss problems we've solved, cool pages we've seen, and interesting tricks and tips. HTML wizards and Web rookies alike are welcome here.

Women's Room Conference Transcripts:
Remember the Cleavage Debate? Women on the Road? Teen Spleen? These topics aren't "live" any more, but you can still read what was said in them, right here.

Politics & Community Conference Transcripts:
We cover a new, provocative theme very month in Politics & Community, and every month we run a new conference on that theme. What happens when the month is over? Selected topics from those conferences go to live here.
