Tripod needs Assistant and Associate Producers to assist Producers in the management and development of products for the Tripod site.
Responsibilities
- work with multi-disciplinary team (designers, editors, taxonomists, marketers and engineers) to develop interactive tools/services to maintain and enhance the Tripod site; report to project Producers.
- assist with the implementation of business changes site-wide; communicate business changes to the development team and help them to work within business parameters.
- track multiple projects simultaneously.
- work closely with producers and product managers to ensure that the production team is informed of business goals and working within business objectives.
Skills/Experience Required
- must be passionate about personal publishing.
- 1 - 2 years editorial, design and/or production experience on the Web.
- strong project management skills; demonstrated ability to work on deadline.
- ability to work well with multi-disciplinary team (designers, editors, taxonomists, marketers and engineers).
- demonstrated familiarity with Tripod's Web site and community-building model.
- knowledge of HTML; good knowledge of Web development.
- good understanding of Web advertising and business development and interest in building commercially successful products.
- bachelor�s degree required.
