Bi-Weekly Segment Of CNNfn's IT'S ONLY MONEY Works With Program's Focus On Providing Gen X-er's With Practical Advice

Williamstown, Mass. (November 14, 1996) - Tripod, Inc. (http://www.tripod.com), the Internet-focused media company providing practical information to young adults in transition from college to the real world, today announces regular appearances by CEO Bo Peabody and Editorial Director Josh Glenn during a new bi-weekly segment of CNNfn's IT'S ONLY MONEY (M-F 6-7 p.m. ET) called "News From the Front." The November 15 premiere of "News From the Front" features Bo Peabody, who leads viewers through Tripod's Website and other Internet services designed to offer young adults the tools they need to make key life decisions. The segment will be telecast live from CNNfn studios in New York City.

CNNfn's IT'S ONLY MONEY focuses on issues relevant to Generation X, with alternative viewpoints on business, features on young entrepreneurs, new technology stories and personal finance information for new investors. True to the network's slogan Business Unusual, IT'S ONLY MONEY hosts Beverly Schuch and John Defterios entertain while offering viewers news and information relevant to their personal and professional lives.

Tripod provides "Tools for Life" via electronic communities, print media and now television to 18 to 34 year-olds making the transition from the academic world to the working world. Tripod's central media property is the Tripod Website, located at http://www.tripod.com.
