Meet the people
who make Tripod
|
|
|
Gail M. Burns
Membership Development Specialist
[email protected]
Gail was born and raised in NYC. She left when she was 23 to "see the world,"
made it as far as Williamstown, and got stuck. Volunteer Recruiter is Gail's third position at
Tripod she's also been an editor and a receptionist. She doesn't mind
changing desks or hats, as long as she has her prized red,
jeweled Kit-cat Clock with her. Despite her allergy to shellfish with
legs, Gail lives the good life in a testosterone-filled house with her husband,
two sons, father-in-law, and nephew.

Mary Beth Goodman
Pod Community Manager
[email protected]
Mary Beth has been quilting for 20 years, so she's good
at stitching together our Pods! She also enjoys a little
clogging every now and then in front of her house. The
neighborhood usually joins in. She is fortunate enough to
have six cats who let her live in the same house, and
sometimes allow her to find a place to sit. She likes Tripod
'cause she gets her own desk here!

Jaime Kalisz
Membership Development Specialist
[email protected]
Jaime spends most of her spare time with James Brown (her horse), who just
turned four but acts like a teenager. (No hot-tub tunes for her.) J.B. lives
across the river behind Tripod, which means Jaime can keep an eye on her
rowdy adolescent when he's turned out. She also keeps an eye on her two
collies and, of course, her husband John. That's easy to do now that Jaime
is working at Tripod he's a QA engineer in the Tripod's Tech department.
Jaime's job at Tripod is her first one outside of academe. She seems to like
being out of school it's like one long summer, right Jaime?

Karry Bengtson
Membership Development Specialist
[email protected]
Karry made quite an auspicious arrival at Tripod in her huge black
K-5 Blazer nicknamed "The Tank" armed with an M.S. in advertising
from Syracuse, a web page for her angel fish,
Bandit and
Tinkerbell, and a LOT of candy to share. She is kind of an
auspicious gal - standing a stately 5'12" (when not astride her
pony Brandy) and talking to her computer (we don't ask!) She
doesn't ski because the one time she tried she hit a priest, but
she is already discovering that her entire family considers her
home in the Berkshires a ski lodge.
