Meet the people
who make Tripod
|
|
|
|
Chris Young
Producer/Toymaker
[email protected]
What's a toymaker? It's the most coveted job at Tripod, and Chris
Young scooped up the title with a single act of job-interview
genius: While others were showing off shockwave skills and java
gymnastics, Chris sported a "Planet of the Apes" belt buckle that
sent the editors swooning and the programmers into fits of jealousy.

Rachel Macauley
Assistant Producer
[email protected]
Nepotism is alive and well at Tripod. The lovely Rachel Goulart
joined the staff mere weeks before walking down the aisle with
long-time Tripodian Jason "Mac" Macauley of the
Tech Department.
Not really though; Rachel comes to Tripod with a degree in English
Communications from neighboring North Adams State. Rachel loves
stray cats, locking herself in the bathroom, and reminiscing about
babysitting her younger sisters.

Christa Bellmare
Ad Producer
[email protected]
Christa lives one half of the week in the "big city," and the other half in
Williamstown. She is Billsville's Krispy Kreme connection, and this
couldn't have made Mags any happier. Instead of producing Musical Theatre (her major at UNH),
she's queen of Ads. These are a few of her favorite things (think Sound of Music): John Irving novels, the band Aerosmith,
her husband, green beans, and Power Bars.

Heather Snowman
Assistant Producer
[email protected]
She's not frosty, but she is a former ski bunny from the slopes of
Colorado Springs, CO. Heather is another brilliant new addition to the growing
Production Dept. at Tripod. She's not new to Tripod though. Heather was previously
counting beans and giving out paychecks (we LOVE her!!) as Assistant Controller.
We knew she was destined to work for
Tripod from the beginning when she confessed that she washed her mother's $200
calculator with soap when she was little. Keep an eye on the servers!

Susan Slattery
Assistant Producer
[email protected]
The Dream: to write the Great American Novel. When that didn't pan out,
it was changed to writing about underwear color and other universal truths.
Now she's just trying to be a good Buddhist. She runs at least four days a week.
When not running, she is meditating, writing, or practicing yoga. Most of the food
she eats is green, except for chocolate. She is known to stand on her head at least
once a day. We call her Susan.

|
|
Natalie Wen
Producer
[email protected]
Natalie has a dog named Sugar, pronounced "Shu-gah." Natalie prefers: Belgian to American
chocolate; raw to cooked fruit (ugh, no warm raisins!); people who make her laugh to
people who don't; hot to cold; t-shirts to blouses; Macs to PCs; independent films to Hollywood;
lean to bulky; weird to normal; fish to meat; and travel to everything else.
