"Barbie Girl" waxes girly on MTV; the Web is riddled with sites like Minx that preach strict pro-girlie ideologies; and 4" stripper shoes
coupled with hankie-sized miniwomens have become the outfit de rigeur for
pre-teen girl things across our nation. Traditional feminists inside air-tight academic walls Women's Zoneing their hands and staunchly refuse the temptations of the razor, but no one can deny that the chasm between the abstractions of feminist
rhetoric and the reality of women's physical desires has grown to yawningly
large proportions. Women are combining their sexuality with a powerful female identity to create a new vision of womanhood: They feel sexy and in charge and they like it.

'Postfeminism: Boys Like It!' is a bumper sticker I've never actually seen on a car, but it's available at the Postfeminist Playground. When you order that one, you can get this one as well: 'The Postfeminist Playground ... Because Feminism Sucked.'
Why did feminism suck? Because boys didn't like it, I guess. Imagine if other social and political liberation movements had taken a similar approach. Black Power: Whites Like It! Queer Power: Straights Like It! Such sell-out claims are a sure-fire way to get laughed out of the revolution.
