3. What makes your job unique?
Tons of client contact.... lots of lunches, dinners, cocktails. It is the type of job that none of your friends or family will understand.
4. How did your college major / graduate school degree help prepare you for your career path?
My English major had nothing to do with my career path, but I believe a liberal arts education opens you up to a vast choice of career options.
5. What necessary career information was missing from your studies? How did you pick up those skills and knowledge?
I had mastered a foreign language so that I would have more international opportunities.
6. What difficulties did you encounter entering your chosen field?
I had a full 4 month classroom training session so I was definitely eased into my field.
7. Why would you recommend your company or job?
It is an excellent company, because they invest a significant amount of time and training in you. They are open to paying for further education. It still allows you time for your own life. There are many fringe benefits, such as great meals. You are given a lot of responsibility and independence from day one.
8. How does the size of your company impact your sense of job satisfaction?
Working for a small company is similar to attending a small college. It makes for a familiar group of people who think that they know everything about each other. It can be great to have such a tight knit group of co-workers, or it can drive you crazy to never be anonymous.
9. What is most rewarding about the work you do?

- messy paperwork
- too many meals
- service industry -- you are always serving the client
11. What is most fun?
- constant face to face time with clients
- certain client events
12. How do you handle work stress?
I either leave and walk around the building or get more organized, and make lists.
13. How big a role does technology play in your career?
Not particularly big at all, but I wish that it played more of a role. Most of my work is in the form of handwritten notes.
14. How do you distinguish yourself from your co-workers?
Work hard, gain the technical skills to understand the business. Apply the gained skills and seek out business.
