To gain freedom from an office environment. To work at home.

I was about to leave my previous employer (they're an OutSource Tech Support firm) anyway, and one of their customers solicited my services to manage the Beta test of their new release of Software, and manage the Tech Support (my old employer).

• The number of Hours (60+) That's about it.

  • Freedom from an office.
  • Work my own hours.
  • Able to be with my daughters more.

• Working when I want/need (late nights are fun!)
• Being involved in the Internet while it's still in it's infancy.
• Not having to walk people through "How do I turn on my computer?"

I don't really have much stress.

12. How big a role does technology play in your career path?

BIG ROLE. I use an ISDN line that's connected nearly 24hrs a day to my ISP. I'm constantly on the computer - my wife will attest to this.

Product Knowledge.
