I never studied film, but got a good, broad humanities education.
5. What necessary career information was missing from your studies? How did you pick up those skills and information?
With no film training, I had to learn on my own. I'm still learning new tools and tricks.
6. What difficulties did you encounter starting your business?
It's always tuff to make movies with no money - even with track record it's still tuff.

40 -- 80, and more when in production

- results contingent on effort, ideas, talent and luck

- conceiving idea for movie

Get high at end of the day, get laid occasionally.

All important, but fundamentals of story-telling are the same as BC (before computers).

I celebrate my own unique POV and try to get others to share my trip.

Get some experience on someone else's dime, put together realistic business plan, take the plunge.
