The SFNB No-Risk Guarantee
For some, the benefits of SFNB are outweighed by concerns about conducting transactions over the Internet. SFNB believes you shouldn't have to worry. That's why "Security" is SFNB's first name.Towards that end, they've created the SFNB No-Risk Guarantee (SFNB-NRG) to alleviate any concerns and to stand behind all your transactions. The SFNB-NRG is simple:
SFNB will reimburse you 100% for funds removed from your account without your authorization; and, when appropriate, for penalties incurred as a result of:
- A computer crime not prevented by SFNB's security system.
- A human and/or system error caused by SFNB, resulting in an improper transaction, leading to lost or misplaced funds.
- An unauthorized SFNB debit card transaction (must be reported within 2 days if lost or stolen).
- A missed or misdirected payment caused by SFNB.
Naturally, there are some things outside of the bank's control. As a result, the SFNB-NRG does not cover the following:
Tripod believes that you will find the SFNB-NRG addresses any concerns you may have about conducting transactions with SFNB. However, if you have any thoughts or comments please do not hesitate to contact the bank at 1-800-SFNB-321 or at [email protected].
- Customer input errors.
- Customer's negligent handling or sharing of user IDs and passwords leading to unauthorized access to accounts, and/or unreported theft of IDs and passwords.
- Customer's failure to complete banking sessions by hitting the EXIT button before leaving computer unattended.
- Known incidents that are not reported by customers within 5 days (2 days for lost or stolen debit cards); by phone or e-mail -- remember SFNB customer service reps are available for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at 1-800-SFNB-321 or at [email protected].
