Southeast Ireland
With few typically Irish attractions (romantic coastlines, wild bogs, etc.), the southeast is one of the least touristed parts of the country. One of the main reasons for coming, in fact, is strictly practical. Rosslare Harbour, near Wexford, is one of only three ferry ports in the country and is perhaps the most convenient hub for EurailPass and InterRail travelers headed for the Continent (traveling to the United Kingdom, however, requires passage from Dublin).
