I have noticed that the eyes of the purple peeps are unaligned, the left ones being lower than the right. This gives them a not merely sinister, but also cocky expression as they eyeball from the place on the counter.
After much debate over what to do about this, I decided further testing was warranted.
I placed two hapless peeps, a yellow and a purple, on a small dish and placed them in the microwave. Within seconds they began to swell, the purple about twice as much as the yellow. I started and stopped the microwave several times, watching them deflate and swell at each action. Finally the purple split open and the smell of burning sugar was evident. Throughout the testing, yellow still retained its head.
I left the plate to cool in the kitchen for ten minutes and came back to discover a purple and yellow swirled pancake reminiscent of a yin yang symbol.
I am now concerned that this is an indication that peeps are indeed sentient beings and are trying to communicate.
Testing has been halted, while I ponder the implications of this.

Well, ok. This isn't easy for me, but my therapist thinks it'll be good for me to get this off my chest.. Back in the olden days, I lived alone on a basically deserted farm, in almost complete isolation from the outside world. On one particularly bright day, I noticed an extremely bright light, and I felt myself drop the bucket I was carrying (I watered the dirt regularly), and felt an odd yet somewhat lovely feeling coming over me. It was bright, and soft, and friendly; Iknew somehow it wouldn't harm me or go stale and taste bad or anything like that. And before I knew it, I was back home, covered with a sticky cream like substance.Yes.I'd been abducted by Peeps. Peeps from Another Planet. UFP's ,if you will. And I'll never forget them.
