May we present the 1998 Peeps Contest Winners!!! Whew!! The judging is over and done. This year's contest brought in an avalanche of entries. (1997 winners are here.) A veritable peep-slide. HA! Anyway, judges were recruited, fed massive quantities of stale, leftover peeps for energy, and put to work reading and rating. Many of the judges have sworn off peeps for life, but we have the winners! So here they are, grouped into slightly different categories from last year's contest. The categories revealed themselves to us as we waded through Peep memories from Tripod members around the globe: The Grand Prize Winner! Games with Peeps Useful Peeps Eating Peeps Peeps Poetry Peep-ology, aka Science Fun with Peeps The Peep-files Mishaps With Peeps Peeps that make you go "Awwwww..." Peeps-Inspired Literature Weird & Wild Peeps Our Grand Prize Winner will be receiving a $50 dollar gift certificate from CDNOW, and a lovely Tripod T-shirt. All our first prize winners will receive Tripod "Pod People" special edition T-shirts. All our winners will receive their own little chunk of priceless web-fame by being published here.
