Even though it's early in our bowling season, a few trends are emerging. One in particular involves the "Jesse Effect." Jesse's a quiet guy around the office: he cranks out designs, kicks back in his comfy chair, and is otherwise mostly mellow. Take him to the bowling alley, and things begin to change. He steps on the slick hardwood surface, picks up the ball, and hammers it down the lane. Crash! 9 pins down. Crash! Spare completed.

We watched in amazement as others took their turn. Anna and Colleen threw them down; Mac Daddy and John M. kept on their toes; even Lenny (a.k.a. Dandy Don) and Christia put up the numbers. But the "Jesse Effect" continued. Crash! 9 pins down. Crash! Spare completed.

The Teams will tangle again next Wednesday night. The Commissioner will be there to guide us all. And we wonder, will the "Jesse Effect" continue?
