We are all looking forward to more celebrations this week as the onslaught of Holiday parties begins. (Yes, we do do some work around here!) Monday night was the Tripod Women's Auxiliary First Annual Cookie Exchange at Mags and Davids house. A few billion leftover cookies showed up at the potluck on Tuesday, along with Baraks Fools Gold Loaf -- an entire loaf of white bread, a jar of peanut butter, one lb. of bacon, and a whole jar of grape jelly (one of Elvis favorite snacks), Mike Merrill's chicken enchilada soup, and a company favorite - Krispy Kreme donuts, straight outta NYC thanks to Christa.
Rachel and Ethan hosted their holiday party on Tuesday night. We all worked to help them reach their 1,000 paper crane goal, but origami is a challenge after a few glasses of Rachels eggnog. Ethan cooked enough latkes to feed the entire population of Williamstown, and we consumed most of them. General merriment and cookie eating ensued. Are we tired of this yet??? Nope. Full??? Not quite.
Wednesday night, the entire Tripod staff (minus David and Mags who made up some lame excuse about having a baby that night) traveled to Dick and Judes house for the annual Tripod holiday party. Suggested attire: jewel-tone velvet anything, smoking jackets, tuxedos, and WW II uniforms (courtesy of Gail Burns theatre troupe). Jo Ann reminded us that gray is this years black. Living in Billsville, we need all the fashion help we can get!
Hope your holiday celebrations are as much fun (and as filling) as ours! Tune in next week to find out whether that lame excuse of David and Mags' was a boy or a girl!
