This week we celebrate change with symbols and myths. Not to be too provocative, but there are some symbolic changes we'd like to discuss with everyone:

Geoff: First off, I'd like to introduce Anna Groskin as the new Insider Diva. Anna's a part of our Editorial Department and has been covertly contributing to the Insider for longer than I'd care to admit. Anna, what's the scoop?

Anna: Writing the Insider is the thing I look forward to most each week. I've heard it's an area that a lot of people scroll down to and read first. It's strategically placed, I think. Readers have to get past everything else before they find the juicy gossip I dish out each week!

Geoff: Yes, a lot of things are crackling here at the Web factory in Williamstown. As the "beat" writer for Tripod, you've taken us bowling, swing dancing, and most recently to Mass MoCA. What's in store for the future? Are you going to break the news about Ethan?

Anna: Soon, yes. I'd like to devote an entire Insider to the man, the myth, the legend. He's definitely on the schedule. I have to go dig up some good stories from his coworkers who have known him forever. I'm sure to find interesting dirt — don't you think?

Geoff: Ahh, yes, we'll leave Ethan's elegiac prose for later.

[pauses]

Finally, Anna I'd like to symbolically 'pass the laptop' to you as you guide and inform our readers about the local Tripod community. I'm not going far, as the Director of Membership & Volunteer Services, but I know the Insider will be in good hands.

[unplugs his laptop from the network and hands it over]
