Tripod Insider

Ethan had a barbecue at the Sabot's house on July 4, he had lunch at Chopsticks with everyone he's ever worked with at Tripod, he had drinks and dessert at the Main Street Caf, and last night, we roasted and toasted (mostly toasted) him in style at the staff meeting. Afterwards, we all trekked to the Purple Pub, and enjoyed one last party in celebration of Ethan's contributions to the Tripod enterprise.

The last time I wrote about Ethan, I failed to mention that Ethan used to write the Insider. He was a man of many hats, many Diet Cokes(R), and many friends. That was more than apparent last night -- almost the entire company showed up at the Pub. Well, maybe it was the free food and open bar. Oh wait, The Pub ... it was definitely NOT the food that brought us there! That should make Ethan feel pretty good.

Tripodians couldn't stay out too late last night, because we had a lot of work to do today. More than 20 international reporters are currently roaming the halls of Tripod, learning about our Homepage Studio and other amazing services (if I do say so myself!). Several employees, myself included, were recruited to give tutorials on the new Homepage Studio 2.0. It was really fun, and one of the most rewarding things I've done in a while. I got to see our products and hard work in action! The Italian reporter I helped enjoyed it almost as much as I did!
