Okay, so it's the first week of October, and I've already broken down and worn my down jacket. I can't believe it! All of the leaves that were trying to stay green during the chill gave in last night, when we received our first frost of the season! There's been no snow yet, but we'll keep you posted on that front.

Maggie and Jenny tried to escape the cold by taking a trip to London this week. Little do they know that fall in the U.K. is just as cold as it is here — if not more so — because of the dampness. I hope they're staying toasty warm inside, drinking lots of tea, and eating scones with jam and clotted cream.

A few Tripodians are about to go on another trip — our fall Meet a Member road trip next week! Mike Marcella, Justin Harrison, Karry Bengtson, and the Insider Diva herself will be visiting Tripod members along the east coast to find out what they think of the site and what they'd like to see us offer in the future. The "tour bus" (actually, a minivan) will be stopping to meet members in Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather, as well as a chance to meet some of the people who read the Insider every week! Stay tuned — we'll have live updates from the road!
