Fantasy Sports Leagues Conference

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks. Got called away on bixness.

Anyways, I hope everyone's baseball team has done as well as mine. I came from 0-3 after three weeks to 10-3 and in the lead. I lost the lead after two weeks and in the final week of the regular season. Second place is still 75 buckies so I really can't complain. Now our playoffs are starting up and I am leading my first playoff game. I would love to play into the money in the playoffs as well.

But what I really came here to talk about, is football. Much to my wife's disspleasure, the season is just around the corner. Combine thursday nightss college, saturday's college, sunday NFL and Monday night, well, I am sure you guys all have the same problems.

As far as the fantasy side goes, I just have been going thru my keeper list from last year. WOW.......I have a long ways to go. Trent Green at QB. Well, being traded to St. Louis isn't a bad thing, especially with Marshall Faulk, seeing as I have him as well. The recieving corps isn't bad with Mushin Muhammed, Charles Johnson, Riedel Anthony and Wayne Chrebet. Mushin and Riedel are prime recievers and Johnson and Chrebet are both seconds. I am weakest at RB. Along side of Faulk I have Duce Staley, who while is a starting back and hopefully a premier one at that, I am not sure of that offense in Philly.

Speaking of RBs, who do you think will fair better? Edgerrin James or Ricky Williams? I think that initially James will be a little better simply because New Orleans has done nothing to improve a crappy line. In a few years, if he survives, Ricky will be a back for years to come. I really like Tim Couch and think that he will be the reason that the Browns won't be the worse team in Football this year. That distinction will probably be San Diego.

I am thinling about starting a wrestling fed. I will be the commish without a wrestler entered. Commish only. If anyone is interested, cntact me ar [email protected]. If I can get enough people, I will get a page set up and rules finalized and all of that. Email me and I will get out a preliminary set of rules.

Well, one final thing. Let's not forget about our chat room which is open every Monday from 8-9 PM. Different subjects will be announced, but we will talk about anything you want. You can access the chat room by going thru the pod web page. Also, we have a set of forums on the web site as well. I have never known a fantasy owner who didn't want to brag about his team.
