Week One Preview
As I write this newsletter, we are less than one hour from the start of the 1999 NFL season.
Let me start by congratulating Lady Lloyd for earning Best of Pod this week. The Steelers Section is THE source for information on the Pittsburgh Steelers. One word of warning though, NO DAWGS ALLOWED!
Now that the season is here, I will be selecting Best of Pod every week. So update your sites! One of the key things I look for in a site is up-to-date information.
Please don't e-mail me asking me to look at your site. The software Tripod provides me automatically finds the most recently updated sites.

On the college side, I unfortunately missed most of yesterday's action because I was at a Division II game. The St. Anselm Hawks defeated UMass Lowell despite a horendous kicking game on both sides. (We're talking missed field goals, missed extra points, punts that looked more like pop flies to the pitcher's mound, etc.)
