The Tripod Hometown Pod is a great place to be, and I hope those of you who are not members, will consider joining! There isn't much to it at all. Just say, "I wanna join", fill in a few blanks and there you are! You're not required to even have a page on your hometown when you join, but who doesn't want to show off that special place they call home, or even have called home at one time!
I've looked around some for resources for those who need some help or just would like to look at someone else's work. Believe it or not there are some special places here at Tripod!
One thing that is on most of our minds today is what is going on at some schools around the nation. Tripod is offering a place to drop in, "Stop School Violence ", which you can find by clicking this link . I hope that while we need to take school violence very seriously, we don't lose sight of the good kids, the good schools and the good work being done by so many hard working parents and teachers. You find these right there in your own hometown and we would love to hear about them if you have someone special to tell us about!
Along the same lines, Tripod offers us, "Tripod's Home & Family Zone". Raising great kids is a community project, but it always starts at home!
I found, "Hometown America", which describes itself as,
"This section of Fulltiming America is dedicated to great Hometowns in America. Is your town here?". It's located here and is another place for you to tell the world about your hometown, perhaps even directing them to your great work here at Tripod!
Happy surfing & if you come across anything way too kewl to keep to yourself, please e-mail
