Politics Conference

Hello, Politics Pod members. My name's James, and I'm going to be your new Poderator. I know some of you have met me already on the Politics Pod message board; (I know I've met some of you), and I look forward to working with you to bring the Politics Pod to life. Since I'll shortly be assembling a small bio off the main Pod page, I'll go ahead and forego my usual narcissistic introduction. Suffice it to say that I'm interested in politics, interested in discussing politics and interested in disccussing discussing politics. Anyway, it looks like the Pod needs some major housekeeping, and I'm hoping to tackle that in the next two weeks. I'm planning on removing from the board messages that are more than a month or so old and expiring conferences that haven't seen posts in more than a month. Also, I'd like to update the resources (both on Tripod and off), especially in terms of adding candidates' official sites to the list of links. When I get time, I'd like to see about setting up an "official" Politics Pod page with links, articles and other fun stuff. I'm going to go ahead and schedule a chat for this Saturday afternoon. I'm hoping anybody who's interested can come by and say hello. Most particularly, I'd be interested in ideas that you all might have about what you'd like to see in the Pod.
