Soon. those who observe daylight savings time will move their clocks back an hour, the days will grow shorter. Time as we know it seems so "out-of-date". Daily I communicate with people all over the planet, sometimes it is my morning and their evening. Wall street has begun taking "after hour" trades online. It seems the internet forces the envelope of time... there really are no borders. Interestingly, a watch company has taken on the task of introducing "Internet time". Essentially, Swatch proposes an internet standard, of 1000 beats per day. They offer a downloadable converter, so that you can type in the time in one time zone and convert it to "beats" or internet time. So next time you are chatting with someone and trying to synchronize your time zones, you may want to get with the "Beat". Swatch.com I am trying to update the Pod, and would like to hear if you have significantly updated your site, or if you have ideas for chat topics and times. There was a time when this pod was quite active, as the days grow shorter, perhaps more web weaving will occur. It is remarkable that as we move into the 21st century, there are still so many ways in which women are falling back, this months Best of Pod Feminism (It's not a dirty word) captures the essence of where we are today.
