From Emma Taylor, Living and Travel Editor:
So much for March Madness and mad cows. The month of madness is over, and spring has finally arrived in Williamstown. To honor the occasion, we have all given up our hot joe in favor of iced coffee. Never has fifty degrees felt so warm.
Thanks to everyone who played in March Madness, especially to those who scored worse than I did (as this is the first year I have watched more basketball than cricket).
For April, we have a new competition -- you can win a Happy Massager by telling us your favorite stress relief tips. Okay, so it's not really that stressful right here in the Berkshires, but we like to hear from you.
Perhaps you're thinking, "Why a Happy Massager?" It's the happy result of a Tripod after-hours gathering. A few weeks ago, we were sitting around at Margaret's house, and she brought out her Happy Massager (a pre-honeymoon gift from her mother). We were instantly smitten. We just had to have one. And now you can, too.
One more thing -- thanks to all the members who emailed me advice and condolences about my pickup -- spring has been kind, and I think Goldenbutt is going to make it. It broke down last month, but when the sun came out, it started again. Looks like it was more a case of winter blues than lemon blues.
As always, keep the letters coming in. We love to hear from you, and we do our best to answer every letter we get. In fact, sometimes the system breaks down, and you might get replies from all of us. How many Web sites can say that?
