We've been doing some redecorating here at Tripod -- check out the site and you'll see what I mean. Renovating the entire site is a major task, a several-month-long process called "redesign." The later stages of redesign are a lot like an all-night party: I walked in this morning and found folks crashed out on couches and office floors, pizza boxes and Chinese food containers scattered around, and piles of empty cans and bottles.

One truth became clear to me this morning: the real winners during a Tripod redesign are the Williamstown-area restaurants that deliver. Both of them.

We've been doing some real-life redecorating as well. The east wing of our factory home is being converted from an indoor Frisbee facility to workspace for our ever-expanding tech staff.

I've become intimately involved in this process because my office is already in the east wing. Our construction team is so flexible that they've actually built walls around my desk, making me the only person I know who's had an office move to them, rather than moving into a new office. Now if I could only do something about all this plaster dust.
