You may recall that Tripod's world headquarters are located in a remote corner of Massachusetts. This time of year we see a lot of beautiful foliage but equal amounts of rain. With a leaky roof this can be a problem. So far, we've seen Communicatrix Kara lose her laptop to the rain with some traumatic results. Her portable was found lying in a pool of water (data recovery anyone?).

Marketing Associate Karry Bengtson has done some creative office arranging for herself. Drip. Drip. Drip. Plunk! Karry brought her fish bowl into work leaving an obscure post-it-note attached: "Water is setting! No fish yet!" Presumably she's taking advantage of our roof for other reasons.

We're also continuing to figure out the new phone system. Receptionist Jenny Wienert has been at the forefront mastering a switch board that looks like the bridge of the Starship Enterprise. She hasn't beamed any one up yet, but we're waiting for it. Imagine — in a fit of wrath, one button and the smell of singed ozone.
