Leaving the house in February can be pretty darn hard in Billsville. Lots of Tripodians end up hibernating at least until April. But this past Saturday night, a bunch of us came out of our houses (and caves) to celebrate two February birthdays (Jenny Wienert's on the 26th and Mike Marcella's on the 27th).
We danced to the vinyl grooves of two Tripod DJs DJ Dead Air and DJ Action Plan. It's a good thing Tripod's around. Otherwise, there wouldn't be any good DJs in town. But then again, if we weren't here, there wouldn't be any parties, and thus no need for DJs. What a catch-22 ...
Snacks (and laughs) were provided by Chris Young, our resident Toymaker. Chris danced around the party with a bag of the "NEW!" Cheetos Zigzag Cheetos. They taste just like the other shapes (paws, waffles, and turds), but everyone agreed, they're definitely the coolest-looking.
Almost 100 people showed up to dance and wish Jenny and Mike a Happy Birthday. Even though it was absolutely freezing outside, I think in the end we were all more than happy to get out and have a good time with good friends.
