For the record, we just want everyone to know that we're not all country bumpkins (not that that's a bad thing to be, anyway). Plus, Williamstown is supposed to get a Dunkin' Donuts and a Taco Bell within the year. So, we're getting there. But wait, who wants to be like the big city anyway?

That's the beauty of this place. Not only is it green everywhere you look (well in the spring and summer — it's white the rest of the year), but it's quiet around here. You can hear the rain on your roof at night. Some people think they can hear the grass grow. You can go for walks and not see (or hear) a single person. Now, that's quiet.

It's funny, some people go on and on around here about how removed we are from the fast-paced, citified, cement-lined world of the city, but no one seems to be moving! Most of us have already been there, done that. We have veterans from NYC, LA, Boston, and Hong Kong. I don't think we're complaining. I think most of us are just craving a big, fresh burrito or an all-night coffee bar. But, who'd want to stay up all night around here — getting up early to watch the sunrise over the mountains is one of the best treats Williamstown has to offer.
