The 1999 Memories of Peeps Contest Winners!!! Whew!! We are PEEPED. This year's contest was shorter than last year, but you folks still flooded us with soft and squishy entries. Anyway, judges were recruited, fed massive quantities of stale, leftover peeps for energy, and put to work reading and rating. Many of the judges have sworn off peeps for life, but we have the winners! So here they are, grouped into slightly different categories from last year's contest. The categories revealed themselves to us as we waded through Peep memories from Tripod members from all over: The Grand Prize Winner! Useful Peeps Eating Peeps Peeps Poetry and Literature Peeps and Families Mishaps With Peeps Peeps that make you go "Awwwww..." The Creative & the Bizarre Our Grand Prize Winner will be receiving a $50 dollar gift certificate from CDNOW, and a lovely Tripod T-shirt. All our first prize winners will also receive Tripod T-shirts. All our winners will receive their own little chunk of priceless web-fame by being published here.
