This week, lots of Tripodians celebrated Cinco de Mayo in style at Mezze, the local bar and bistro. Margaritas and delicious Mexican-inspired cuisine were consumed in large quantities this Wednesday night. Jay went for a run with Anna before dinner so he could eat a lot when he met Brian, Greg, and Sean at Mezze. Jenny made an early reservation for herself, Maggie, and Jesse. Heather and Natalie showed up fashionably late for drinks. Even though Williamstown could not be further from where the Battle of Puebla was fought (in which outnumbered Mestizo and Zapotec Indians defeated the French army under General Ignacio Zaragoza), we can still celebrate freedom and liberty!
Speaking of celebrating ... Thursday of this week was a special day for someone of minor (read: MAJOR) importance at Tripod. Bo Peabody, cofounder of Tripod, turned 28 this week. Oops. I think he wanted me to say 23. That would mean he graduated from Williams, uhhh, last year ... no one's gonna believe that! We all want to wish him a very happy birthday, and that we thoroughly enjoyed his cake after the all-company staff meeting. Yum.
