The Party of the Year finally happened. Williamstown has never seen the likes. This past Friday at Mezze, the chic local bar, we celebrated the launch of two major projects — our new Homepage Studio, and Private Pods — and rightfully so! Long and hard hours of work had finally paid off.
When you have a bunch of gregarious, celebratory Tripodians in front of an open bar, things are going to happen. Gayle was seen placing butterfly barrettes in the coifs of her unsuspecting editorial cohorts (female AND male); Don's legendary blue drinks caught on (although pink Cosmopolitans were a huge hit, as always); Dwayne was caught exclaiming "I love you, man!" in pure Budweiser fashion; and when the disco ball was rigged up, it was Tripodians cutting up the rug, dancing to the deft DJing of Senior Editor Emma.
Before tech whizzes Michelle and Heather were escorted home via limousine, Emma, Kara, Don, and Maggie commandeered the limo for a few spins around the block. Kara spent the bulk of the ride screaming the names of her partners in crime out the window. Now a few more neighborhoods know the names of Tripod partiers (whether they want to or not). Could any future Tripod party live up to our soiree? We'll work on it!
