So you want to surf the Web, but you don't know where to begin? Lycos did the searching for you! Community Guides are specific Web pages, and Web Guides are topics of interest. Web Guides are sites that Lycos lists for you; Community Guides are dynamic listings of sites that you, the explorer, deem good enough to get noticed (or, rank them low enough to be ignored!).
Lycos chooses sites on a range of topics — from Entertainment to Business to People — and lists them on the center of the Lycos homepage. They are interesting Web pages, and are continuously updated; they contain news, features, activities, and the Lycos Community Guides.
